Task

In the summer 2016 the festival of book illustration «Mors» had held the poster competition were we had taken part.

Solution

To make the message visible among the visual noise of the city there shouls be smart idea and sometimes pithiness. It was clear that book characters could appear on the posters but it should not be in the commonplace way. So we decided to show the portraits of famous characters as if they were made by the Victorian artist. These images have become a solid plate for the festival logo.

Result

The work has become one of the eight winners that have attracted illustration lovers to the festival.
